Why I Chose Nursing?

Its been two years when my parents ask me what course i will take in college.
I have lots of choices but i ended up in BS NURSING.
BUT, WHY NURSING? It is because many of my relatives are working abroad as nurses.
They told my mother to send me in a nursing school so that if i will pass, it is so easy to for me to find a job.
Because many people all around the world are seeking CARE especially those who are in the first world country.
Another reason is the high salary offered. In a local registered nurse the average salary is about 5,000 to 8,000 a month.
But, comparing to the salary abroad, it can reach up to 70,000 and maybe higher.
Lets face the truth, majority of students who are taking up nursing course are because of worldwide demand especially if you are from Philippines.
WE are known because of our proper hygiene and the way we care to our patients.
Being responsive to the needs of every patients who needs immediate care.

Now, that i am in the second year of my college life, i already understand what is really nursing all about.
It's all about sacrificing.

Why?

In times of regular holidays you are in the hospital caring for other people. Like in Christmas and New Year, you are in the hospital doing your responsibilities
Ambitions sometimes help us to strive harder to pursue our goals in life.
And when we realized that we already have what we want. That's the time we can say that we are willing to share.
Share some knowledge and blessing.
Like what our alumni are doing.
They are showing to us what sacrificing can do. It can lead to a better future.
Because CARING is SACRIFICING and SACRIFICING is CARING for somebody who needs our help, nurses, in times of health needs.
